An amazingly light, super compact but basic model that sacrifices features for portability. Great for travelling and holidays.

The Yezz is incredibly light, weighing in at an incredible 5kg, and also tiny when folded, and is sure to turn heads with its bright colours and unusual design. Its very comfortable and smooth to push, you can steer one handed and its tiny enough to fit into any car boot. You can easily carry it on your shoulder and the super quick fold means you can switch from pushing to carrying in a flash – ideal for jumping on a bus.

The fabric is water and stain repellent and it comes complete with a sun canopy. Unashamedly basic – there’s little or no seat recline (which rules it out for babies younger than six months) and the storage pouch is minuscule – but if you want an ultra-light and compact buggy for short trips out and holidays, this is definitely worth a look.

Stylish and modern with excellent manoeuvrability – it practically glides along. Read on for our full review of this lightweight pushchair, rated by three real mums in the May 2015 issue of M&B.

Handles rough terrain well and can be pushed with one hand, which is useful with older children.

We would’ve liked a recline setting and more storage, although the pocket for valuables is a useful feature. Suitable from six months, although one tester feels it’s better suited to older toddlers and preschoolers, who require minimal head support. It’s super-compact and free-standing when folded.

At 5kg, it’s light enough to lift comfortably, even with your baby in it. There’s even a carry strap attached.

Merry Algie, 32, from London, mum to Edeline, six months, said:‘Ideal for travelling, as it’s so light and a joy to push. The curved handlebars means there’s nowhere to hang shopping and the storage is minimal.’

Becky Dickinson, 41, from Devon, mum to Jonas, eight, Daisy, five, and Anya, two, said: ‘Tricky to fold, but it’s a gorgeous pushchair and highly portable. It’s so light, yet feels strong and robust. I like the hard-wearing wheels as well.’

Natasha Harding, 40, from Kent, mum to Alexa, 14 months, said:‘Beautifully designed and very easy to manoeuvre over all kinds of terrain, but Alexa could have done with a little more support in the seat.’
