Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

It took me a couple of practices with the Brother Max 2-in-1 Thermometer to learn how to use it, my baby did not like it being put in his ear so for now I could only use it as a forehead thermometer.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It gives a quick reading and is easy to hold.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I wouldn't change anything about the Brother Max 2-in-1 Thermometer, good value for money.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Yes I would recommend this product, it was fairly easy to use once I had managed to get the battery protective strip off.  I had issues removing this and it would not come off just from being pulled, I had to prize the battery out, then remove the strip.  Nice compact design, and instructions were easy to follow.  I really liked the non-contact facility, which seemed pretty accurate as we tested the entire family and compared results with another reliable thermometer.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Very quick and easy to use, and extremely convenient to have the non-contact facility, which enables you to use the thermometer on your baby when they are sleeping as not to disturb them too much when they are ill.  The thermometer seemed pretty reliable when compared to another trusted thermometer, so yes to have peace of mind that you are using a good quality product does make your life easier.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The only issue I had with this product was that I found it almost impossible to remove the protective battery strip before using the thermometer for the first time.  This wasn't just me being inept, as I had asked my father and partner to try also, in the end we had to use another implement to prize the battery out and then pull away the strip.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The Brother Max 2-in-1 thermometer is really good. I've used it with my baby and my older toddler and it takes their temperature quickly and easily.  I like it that you can do ear or forehead readings as it can be difficult to get my baby to stay still enough to put something on his ear! It works well and is reliable.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It's really stressful when your children are ill and this thermometer helps take their temperature quickly, easily and with no fuss. I was really impressed and would definitely recommend it.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

A little case to keep it in would be useful.

This thermometer is an essential part of your first aid kit if you have young children. It's so easy and quick to take a temperature reading. It's so easy to use and we've tried it out on the whole family!  I like the bright colours and it's small enough to take away with you in your bag.

The Brother Max 2-in-1 thermometer is something I'd recommend to friends. It is compact and very simple to operate. The price is also good.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The thermometer read temperatures using infrared and is therefore very quick, no hanging around for a reading. It is also easy to clean and a good size to take away with you when travelling.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The scan feature needs you to keep the probe in contact with the forehead which was tricky at times with a moving the baby. All in all though a great product, especially for the price.

Tested by dad Dan Jones for the M&B Awards 2016:

I'd recommend the Brother Max thermometer to friends and family. It was simple to use once I'd read the instructions. No unnecessary gimmicks. Ear and forehead readings. easy to clean. The forehead reading was a bit difficult with a wriggler of a child but all in all no worse than the one I have already.

How does this product make your life easier as a dad?

The readings are given very quickly and the symbols make it super easy to know if there is problem or not. Very simple design with just one button to press for a reading and one to click from for head to ear setting. Also liked the compact design. Easy to store and take away in wash bag.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Not sure I'd change anything.

We love the ear and forehead monitor! So easy and so fast to get accurate results. Minimal fuss to baby so easier to get results. Looks really snazzy in its own holder and the light is brilliant for night time but clear also for day time. Easy to keep nice and clean with baby wipes. Battery lasts for ages.

I don't have to hold baby down or distract too much to get a result as it’s so fast and easy to get a result that you can trust is perfectly accurate and trustworthy.
