This has a remote control to let you play tunes or rainforest sounds without entering the room. It converts to a music box with a night light for older children.

The Rainforest Peek-a-Boo Leaves Musical Mobile features monkeys, birds and leaves that appear to float up and down as the mobile turns. With animal friends, music, lights and motion, baby can relax under his very own rainforest canopy as shiny leaves wave gently up and down above.

Tested by Stefanie Daniels, 33, from Hertfordshire, mum to Johnny, five months. She said:

This has become our pre-naptime baby essential. Johnny loves staring at the flashing lights and hanging toys, while the remote is a great addition for me as I can turn it off without going into his room and disturbing him.

I also feel like I'm doing my bit to help turn my son into a musical genius too, as the mobile moves to the sounds of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven – or the calming rainforest!

Lots of friends have commented on how much they like this mobile, so I’d definitely recommend it.
