Pebli Town is a board game that interacts with a tablet, with four different story modes. It lets parents be part of playtime, rather than your little ones playing with a tablet independently.

Tested by Kimberley Robertson-Hunt, mum to Henry, 4. She says:

My son loves playing with the interactive board and so do we. It has a great range of games to choose from and you can work up through levels. We set up a little competition between my son, my husband and I to see who could move the characters to the correct place in the quickest time.

I really like how although my son is playing on a tablet game he is still active and engaging with us throughout. It really brings the characters to life and the connection between screen and board means you are constantly switching between the two so he's not glued to a tablet screen. The price is quite high, however, and you do need a relatively up-to-date tablet to use it.
