Ruby and Ginger’s Cosy Car Seat Cover is designed to keep baby safe and warm in the car seat. It is simple to put on and take off, and folds away neatly into a compact storage bag (included with the product) that can be kept in the car/changing bag and used as required.
The flap, which folds over the ‘viewing triangle’ is handy if you want to protect baby from a chilly breeze as you get in and out of the car although some babies may find the enclosure somewhat claustrophobic. The fabric is soft and durable but a waterproof option would be handy as well as some plainer designs!
The cover is a great alternative to using blankets or bulky snow suits (which aren’t recommended for car seats anyway) and will be really useful in the colder weather as a way of keeping baby snug and undisturbed in a car seat.
