The Gro Company’s Travel Grobag makes life so much easier when travelling with a baby. When out and about blankets unravel, un-tuck and fall on the floor but with a Grobag, the hassle is eliminated.
A five-point car seat harness (and the like) fits through a hole in the back of the bag, which zips around the harness clip on the front – little ones can thus be transferred easily from seat to bed without being woken up and without the fuss of blankets and sleeping bags.
The product comes in an array of colourful designs; the material is soft and of good quality, and the bag washes easily. Zipping baby into the bag can be a bit fiddly when the top zip struggles to engage, and if the Grobag is used in a stroller, the zip, which is compatible with car seat positioning, can ride up and aggravate baby’s chin – an added flap of material and some Velcro would easily solve the problem.
The product does cost more than the average sleeping bag but for many parents, a peaceful night out will be worth the cost.

It's very easy to transport a sleeping baby without waking them. The design is cheerful and modern and the Grobag keeps baby cosy and warm. The zip is concealed so it doesnt rub them. it's really easy to use a 5 point harness by opening the back of the sleeping bag.
How did this product make your life easier?
I can get from A to B without worrying about him being disturbed. I don't need to worry about him sleeping with blankets and pulling them over his head when he is zipped into his Grobag, it really does make life easier.
Would you choose this product to win?
I think it is great that the Grobag is recommended by the Lullaby Trust. It really makes life easy for parents taking their kids out and about.
What changes would you make to this product?
I wouldn't change anything, this product is fantastic!

I really loved this product, easy to use, easy to clean, very soft and comfortable for my little girl (she looked so sweet in it) and above all she stayed asleep after journeys, so transfering her from car seat to cot was easy. I highly recommend this product and it is a brand I trust. I'd pick a low tog rating for car journeys.
How did this product make your life easier?
Can you put a price on sleep? No, I thought not! This is why this product comes up top for me. No man-handling baby when the journey has come to an end. It meant holiday journeys were much easier (and let's face it they are hard enough to start with). This just made one more aspect that little easier.

I love this product. It is so easy to use. It is fairly lightweight and easy to grab on the go or throw into the pram or changing bag. It is a soft and gentle material which feels kind on my baby's skin. It is really intuitive to do up and use with the car seat etc. The design we received is also bright and bold and really fun.
How did this product make your life easier?
The Travel Grobag is a brilliant travel product, it reassures me my baby is going to be warm enough on our travels without having to worry that she has kicked off a blanket and is cold. My harnesses fit through the travel holes and I never get in a mess with the product. My baby also likes it and I am sure it makes her sleep more soundly. The tog rating is also reassuring for knowing a guideline of clothes to wear underneath.
What changes would you make to this product?
I would like the material to dry a bit quicker after washing. It can be frustrating waiting for the Travel Grobag to dry between uses. Perhaps a fast-dry material or coming as a pack of two would be better. Other than that I really can't think of anything else to improve the product - we love it in my house!

This is a fantastic product. It is great to be able to go out and get baby ready for bed, travel home and to not have to worry about transferring them and waking them up when swapping blankets etc over. This travel bag means baby can go straight from the car seat into their cot with minimum fuss. Highly recommended.

This product has made life much easier. It means I no longer need to worry about waking a sleeping baby when bringing them in to the house. It also means that the baby is kept nice and warm and snuggled on car journeys or when the car seat is being attached to the pushchair on a day out. The bag is easy to use.

Normal baby sleeping bags are not compatible with using with a car seat and for that reason this product is fantastic. It is simple to use and makes transferring baby from car to cot much easier. I Would definitely buy this product as my child grows out of it.

Yes, we really liked this product. It was convenient, lightweight and easy to use. We travelled with the grobag to Boston, USA with our daughter when she was 9 weeks old and the Grobag packed down really well, took up little space or weight and then provided an excellent complete set of bedding for our daughter. Very pleased.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
I loved this product - the design is beautiful with a gorgeous seaside print, the quality is excellent and the zips and fastenings feel really safe - the zips are hidden behind popper fastenings to prevent baby from opening it. The fabric was nice too and it came in a nice travel bag - ideal for taking away with you.
How does this product make your life easier as a mum?
I love the gro bags as it is an easier option that blankets - they are nice and snug on the top, with two fastenings for the arms as baby grows. They have room at the bottom for baby to kick around without feeling to constricted but its obviously impossible for them to kick it off like they tend to do with a blanket. I felt reassured that baby was not able to end up with covers over their face (hence the design of the gro bag) It is also far more lightweight to travel with than taking blankets/covers. Also came with a free nursery thermometer and an easy key to understand what tog gro bag should be used and what clothes to put baby in underneath.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
I can't think of anything that would improve this product - I think they are a really vital investment for peace of mind at bedtime.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
A travel Grobag what a great idea! This product is easy to use with a pushchair or car seat with a 5 point harness. It was simple to put on and was simple to remove my child from her pushchair with it still on. A two way zip design on the bag makes changing nappies easy. A bright and appealing design with many to choose from the range and it comes in three tog ratings 2.5 tog, 1 tog and 0.5 tog brilliant for whatever weather you may be experiencing. Made from 100 % cotton so easy to wash and tumble dry on a low heat.
How does this product make your life easier as a mum?
My 1 year old daughter tested the 1 tog Up and Away design travel bag. It was perfect for her; we tested it at a friend’s barbecue where she went to sleep in the evening in her pushchair. It was a warm night so the tog was perfect and she looked very comfy and cosy once in (and cute too). A lovely unisex design and she was easily transferred from the pushchair to cot once the evening had finished without waking. Every parent’s dream!
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
I wouldn’t change anything about this travel grobag, it fulfils a purpose, is good value for money and a quality product. The only thing I could think of to improve it would to maybe add some more to the range with bolder colour designs, there are a lot of white background or pale bags which over time can start to look a little grubby with constant washing.
