At a glance:

Organic peas and water, steamed to make just the right texture. These are designed perfectly for babies' very first tastes. These purees have no added sugar, salt or water, no additives or thickeners and are non-GM.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Emma: I would recommend this range because of the ethos of the company and how I feel it is a trustworthy and well-known brand. I would recommend them because of the ease of use and the convenience taking them out and about.

Laura: These are so versatile and easy to use in a hurry. Excellent for the early stages but also in baby led weaning as an add-on to other dishes to ensure the little one gets their veg. They were a lifesaver during teething when all he wanted were smooth and cool foods. No nasty ingredients too which is a must-have.

Annabel: Yes! It is time-saving and good quality. Ella's kitchen have really taken over the baby food market and we don't really look at other brands now.

How did this product make your life easier?

Laura: The Ella's Kitchen Love Veg Range has made life much easier! Whilst I like to make my little boy home-cooked meals most of the time, the Ella's Kitchen Range is made using all organic ingredients with no "added extras" meaning I feel confident he is eating decent food when I use them - saving me a lot of time preparing all his meals. They are also super easy to take out and about - no need to keep in the fridge and you can squeeze straight onto the spoon.

Penelope: Completely overwhelmed weaning with a holiday abroad on the horizon, we turned to Ella’s pouches as a foolproof solution to our feeding needs whilst away. Ella’s pouches provide an instant solution to meal times and come in a wide variety of flavours, ensuring that you can continue to provide variety on the go. Easy to carry or use at home, they are very helpful in making life easier.

Emma: Using Ella's pouches made weaning so easy, previously I had spent hours in the kitchen batch cooking, blending and freezing pots but the pouches made it so simple. They are also quick to warm up.

Would you choose this product to win?

Emma: I think there are definitely some cheaper options on the market when it comes to baby food but Ella's Kitchen packaging is a lot better. The way this range is marketed gives you more peace of mind. If the budget allowed every month I would definitely choose this product.

Jacqueline: I think the fact that the sachets are made from organic ingredients, without any additives or chemicals means that this product should win. I am constantly worrying about what my child eats and where possible I make things at home. Knowing that there is a product that seems to consider this means that if I am struggling for time, I am confident using these.

Hannah: This product should win as no other baby food has clear allergy information. When shopping with a baby and toddler I do no want to spend ages checking the label and this brand has made this so simple.

What changes would you make to this product?

Emma: At present Ella’s pouches, along with most other brands cannot be recycled through local councils. Although Ella's kitchen have pledged to make all their packaging recyclable in the future there is still an awful lot going to landfill. So they have teamed up with TerraCycle and there are now several drop off points around the country, this isn’t massively publicised and i think more could be done to promote this on the packaging.

Hannah: Make the products cheaper or sell in multi-packs - easier for transporting home and storing. I'd also change the range of Ella pouches.

Laura: The only aspect I might change about the product would be the price. Ella's Kitchen Veg Range is one of the more expensive to buy in the supermarket, and so being able to purchase on offer would be a bonus. Saying that however, I believe Ella's Kitchen represents good value for money as I would rather pay a premium for better quality food for my baby.
