John Lewis have released their Top 10 Toys for Christmas 2017

Section: Christmas

The unmissable John Lewis Top 10 list for toys this Christmas has just emerged, and we’re excited. This year, it’s a combination of old classics and very new tech-based toys, featuring mini robots and a furry tiger that responds to your voice with his own roar.

For the traditionalists, the list includes a beautiful Leckford dolls house along with a wooden pirate ship and a John Lewis cash register which makes a realistic ping sound when the drawer opens.

What features heavily though is a range of tech-based toys that are bound to be just as interesting for parents alike. With the ongoing advancement of Artificial Intelligence in the scientific world, brand Anki has introduced a robotic dog, Cozmo, with his own personality which “evolves the more you hang out.” They say, “he’ll nudge you to play and keep you constantly surprised.” So if you haven’t got time/space for a dog, this robotic puppy could be your answer…Though, at the top of the list, it will set you back nearly £200. In a similar vein, The Lego Boost 17101 Creative Toolbox actually allows your kids to build their own robots that can move around.

We think it’s a pretty definitive list…very forward-thinking! Take a look here:
