Mothercare RECALLS this baby crib, after safety fears

Mothercare crib

Best-selling baby brand Mothercare has recalled its Hyde Crib over fears that it could fall apart.

In a Facebook post, the retailer explained that the recall was ‘due to a risk of injury posed by a safety issue of the base detaching from the frame.

‘It effects a small number of cribs sold, with batch dates from January 2017 to November 2017. All earlier batches are unaffected. The batch date can be found on the crib base.’

The crib was sold in Mothercare stores and online and the brand have shared pictures to show what can be classed as safe and unsafe. If your crib is affected, you should stop using it immediately and return it to a store where a full refund will be given.
