Where the celebs take their kids on holiday

Kids on beach

As the summer holidays approach and our Instagram feeds get flooded with snaps of swimming pools and strange inflatables, we’re all starting to wonder what the top celebrity ‘mummy-moon’ destinations will be this year. Get ready to have a read and sigh with envy as you read where the likes of Kate and Wills and Beyonce will be jetting off to, plus advice on hotels if you want to follow in their famous footsteps...

Kate Middleton – The blue beaches of the Carribean

Kate and William have both been big fans of an escape to the island of Mustique for some much-needed rest and relaxation, so it’s only a matter of time before Prince George and Princess Charlotte join them.

Where should you stay?

Finding baby-friendly places abroad can sound like a bit of a headache – it’s bad enough getting your bag of nappies and formula under the weight limit, but carting your buggy to the Caribbean? Think again! One baby-designed hotspot is the Punta Cana resort has a baby club available for little ones from four to 23 months, open 9am-5.30pm, six days a week.

Beyoncé Knowles – A European sailing break

When you’re one of the biggest stars on the planet, and you’re married to Jay-Z, where do you take your brood on holiday? A super yacht of course! The power couple took Blue Ivy round Europe on what’s reported to be their own $70 million dollar super yacht.

Where should you stay? We’re thinking now Beyoncé has added two babies to her brood, a seaside resort might be a good alternative. Great baby-friendly destinations that are hot right now include Greece (check out Clemmie Hooper’s Instagram if you need persuading) and Portugal – both a short-haul flight if you’re travelling from the UK (sorry Beyoncé!)

Serena Williams – Me time in Mexico

If winning the Australian Open at eight weeks pregnant isn’t the perfect excuse for some time off, we don’t know what is! Tennis superstar Serena Williams revealed she was pregnant with her first baby earlier this year with fiancé Alexis Ohanian. Soon after, the pair jet off to a babymoon in Mexico, so it can’t be long before they holiday there as a family of three.

Where should you stay? For tennis fans, why not hone your Serena swing whilst your little ones are taken care of in the Cancun Yucatan resort? With a pyjama club from four months to seven years, you can rest assured the little ones will be taken care of at all times.

Chrissy Teigen – A mini break in Morocco

Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend chose Marrakech, Morrocco for one of their first family holidays with baby Luna. The hustle and bustle might not sound like somewhere you’d take your toddler, but the culture and the weather this beautiful part of the world has on offer should persuade you otherwise.

Where should you stay? If you are heading to this part of the world, finding a family friendly hotel to relax at the end of the day is a must. The Marrakech La Palmeraie resort set in Morocco’s oldest palm grove is a good choice, with a Petit Club available for little ones aged 2-3 and above - with a vegetable patch, a smash pool and even camel rides on offer six days a week.
