A food packed with fertility boosting properties has been revealed – and it’s the perfect time of year to eat them.
They may be one of the most disliked vegetables, but if you’re trying to conceive then Brussels sprouts are definitely worth piling on your plate this Christmas.
New research shows that this green micro cabbage has great fertility boosting properties for both men and women – so both you and your partner should tuck in to a plate of them regularly.

‘This vitamin rich source also increases sperm levels and helps line the womb with the right nutrients raising sperm survival chances. Another benefit of this folic rich food is that it also helps to decrease the risk of miscarriages and birth defects,’ she says.
Sprouts also contain nutrients that help women absorb balanced levels of oestrogen and help the body get rid of excess hormones, boosting fertility.
