Mum & You 100% Biodegradable Wipes at a glance:

These biodegradable, hypoallergenic wipes are excellent for babies with sensitive skin. The packaging is very compact and easy to carry around.

We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...

How did this product make your life easier?

Shereen: The packaging is good as it is a slim packet rather than a bulky airy packet. It fits nicely into many of my baby bags and normal handbags. The sticker is very sticky and has not come off or had any leakages. The fact that these wipes are biodegradable puts my mind at ease knowing I use lots for both my children.

Emily: I really like the fact that these wipes don't stick together when you pull them out the packet, which makes life a lot easier when you are trying to change a wriggling babies nappy or your toddlers messy face. They are biodegradable so it makes you feel less guilty for using wipes and much better for the environment.

Natalie: As a mother I use disposable wipes. Using reusable wipes is not an option for me as I just have not got the time at the minute to do so. I love the fact that these wipes are biodegradable because we do really need to protect our environment for the sake of our children. These wipes are lovely and moist and are easy to use.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Lisa: These baby wipes are biodegradable and plastic free and thus make you feel like you are doing your part to help protect the environment. They are made of water and I found them soft and easy to use especially as my son suffers from mild eczema, they where gentle on his skin. The packaging is also very bright and fun!

Natalie: Yes I would recommend these wipes. They come in a packet and are easily pulled out of the packet. They are well packed in and one wipe comes out at a time - so wastage of wipes is avoided. The wipes are very moist which is good and helpful for wiping babys bum. They fit inside any changing bag and I love the fact they are biodegradable.

Laura: I would recommend this product to friends and family who are interested in buying environmentally friendly products as they are biodegradable. The pack fit nicely into my changing bag and the wipes were soft on my baby’s skin. The packet of wipes was aesthetically pleasing and I liked the design on the pack.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Lisa: I would buy the Mum & You baby wipes over other brands as they are better for the planet, plant based and soft and gentle on newborn skin as they are made primarily of water. The packaging is fun and bright and really stands out from others on the market. In terms of price they are comparable to other available brands.

Natalie: I would chose these because they are biodegradable. for me this is a huge factor and I would like to try and protect the planet Earth. We need to make these changes along with a lot more, in order to save our planet. We might not benefit from these changes but we need to protect Earth for our children and their children etc.

Emily: I really like the fact that these wipes are biodegradable. The amount of wipes I get through in our household with three young children is definitely worth the swap. I like the fun packaging and it feels like there are a lot of wipes in one packet. A lot of wipes stick together when you pull them out the packet which makes it really difficult when you only have one hand whilst using the other hand to stop your baby from rolling over mid nappy change!

What changes would you make to this product?

Lisa: These wipes are not cheap however to have a variety of pack sizes on the market would be good, not just 56 but maybe 72 in a pack. Another feature could be having a recyclable plastic lid for the opening instead of sticky plastic which when you are in a rush can be very tricky to open or find the right end!

Emily: The one thing I would change is the lid on these wipes, I find the stickyness goes quite quickly so the wipes can dry out pretty quickly. This can be frustrating if you have quite a few wipes left in the packet. A plastic lid that can be recycled would work well so that you can click the wipes shut.

Laura: I would prefer the wipes to hold more liquid and be wet in order to clean my baby thoroughly. This would in turn mean that I would be able to use less wipes at one time and make them last longer: I would reduce the price of the pack as I go through lots of packs in one day I would not be able to afford to regularly buy these wipes.
